my brother bought guild wars when it came out and he doesn't play the game at all and he uninstalled it from his computer a while ago and the game was collecting dust on his shelf. I went to install it tonight and the cd key doesn't work. is there anyway of contacting the company to see if they can reset the key or maybe send a new one?? i would really like to play this game.

Why would ANet send you a new key anyway? That's just the same as saying "Hey ANet give the game for free as I can't use this key because it was originally my Brothers account"! Once a key has been activated for an account it's irreversable and is linked to that account for good.

What you'll need to do is log-in with your Brothers email and password. Ask him nicely and maybe he'll give them to you.

yea, thats what i did. my bro didnt remember his password so he just told me to do the reset password thing. forgot about that. lol. about the sending a new key, with wow, it was pretty much the same exact problem and they just had me send the actual game sleeve with the key and then they sent another one with a new key on it.
